Foreign minister meets Egyptian counterpart

Cairo, Dec. 24 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa met today evening in Cairo his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry. They reviewed ways to bolster bilateral relations in all fields, and discussed a number of regional and international issues of common concern. The Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry hailed the progress and development being witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain thanks to the wise vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, wishing the Kingdom every progress and affluence. Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa expressed pride in the depth and firmness of bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt and the stunning development it is witnessing at all levels. He attributed the strength of bilateral ties to the ongoing interaction and cooperation and the harmonious visions it exhibits in its dealings with the Arab, regional and global issues. He also affirmed the unflinching stance of the Kingdom of Bahrain in support of the Arab Republic of Egypt, stressing that the security and stability of Egypt is a prerequisite for the stability and security of the Arab nation and valued the Egyptian supportive stance towards the Kingdom of Bahrain and all that pours into the interests of the Arab countries and peoples.
