Foreign Minister holds farewell ceremony for outgoing German Ambassador

Manama, June 16 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa today received the outgoing German Ambassador to Bahrain Sabine Taufmann. The minister reviewed the ever-progressing close bilateral relations. He praised high-level diplomacy she enjoys and laudable efforts she has made throughout her tenure, which have further cemented aspects of cooperation between the two countries at all levels. He held at the Ministry Court a farewell ceremony for the outgoing German Ambassador during which he presented her with a commemorative gift in recognition of her kind efforts in promoting bilateral relations, wishing her success in her future missions. German Ambassador expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Foreign Minister and government officials for the support provided. She ascribed the fruitful and constructive cooperation between the two countries as well as the success of her diplomatic mission to the official support she received, wishing the kingdom of Bahrain further advancement and prosperity under its wise leadership.
