Foreign Minister condoled by UK counterpart

Manama, Sept. 10 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, today received a written message from the United Kingdom Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, Philip Hammond, in which he expressed his country’s sincere condolences on the martyrdom of five brave soldiers of the Kingdom of Bahrain while carrying out their national sacred duty through the participation in the Arab coalition for the defense of the legitimacy in Yemen led by the armed forces of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, affirming the continued support of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people in this tragedy. The Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed his thanks and appreciation for the kind sentiments expressed by the UK Foreign Secretary, expressing the Kingdom of Bahrain pride in the close historical and outstanding ties between the two countries in various fields.
