Foreign Minister attends GCC-British meeting

Paris, June 2 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, participated in the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the GCC States with the British Secretary Philip Hammond held today in the French capital Paris. The meeting reviewed the GCC-UK close historical ties that based on cooperation and exchange of mutual interest, as well as means of further bolstering and consolidating these relations for the best interest of both sides. Talks also extended to cover the latest development on the regional and international arena and the challenges and crises of the region including Yemeni and Libyan crises, as well as devising ways of solutions for those crises in the framework of the international efforts in order of prevalence of international peace and security.
