Foreign minister attends GCC – India meeting

New York, Oct.1 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, affirmed that ties between GCC states and the Republic of India take many dimensions and rapidly and tangibly making progress all fields, thanks to the joint keenness on closer ties of friendship and to boost strategic relations to an advanced stage for the benefit of both sides and common interests as well as investing in many possibilities and aspects that underpin these relations. A number of issues were discussed during the participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the joint ministerial meeting between GCC states and the Republic of India on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meetings in New York, including the means of bolstering ties and developing coordination towards all regional and international issues of mutual interest and at international gatherings.
