Football tournament with participation of President Zhaparov to be held in Bishkek

Bishkek, April 21, 2022. / Kabar /. On May 4-5, Bishkek will host the Muras football tournament, organized by the Kyrgyz Football Union and the Presidential Administration, presidential spokesman Erbol Sultanbaev said. He added that in December, at a tournament dedicated to the 100th anniversary of national football, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov announced that this sporting event would become traditional and would be held twice a year on a summer/winter tournament basis. This time, 12 teams will compete for the championship: team of the Presidential Administration led by Sadyr Zhaparov, cultural figures, representatives of business, representatives of the media, veterans of national football, heads of sports federations, MPs, governors, mayors ad heads of regions, representatives of clergy, ambassadors to Kyrgyzstan, chief doctors and heads of hospitals, directors of schools and rectors of universities. The tournament will be broadcast live on the Public Broadcasting Corporation and on KTRK Sport channel.
