Follow-up affairs minister receives Russian ambassador

Manama, May 28 (BNA): Minister of Follow-up Affairs Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al- Mutawa received here today Russian Ambassador to Bahrain Vagif Garaev. The minister congratulated the ambassador on his appointment, wishing him every success in assuming his new diplomatic duties. The minister lauded the advanced level of bilateral relations, growing steadily in all fields, in light of the joint ties and keenness to strengthen bilateral cooperation, so as to achieve common interests. He affirmed Bahrain keen interest in further advancing bilateral relations, especially in the economic, commercial and investment sectors in order to serve the best interest of the two countries. The ambassador affirmed his country's keenness on promoting bilateral relations with Bahrain on all levels, highlighting Bahrain's interest in enhancing joint fruitful cooperation, which meets the aspirations of the two countries.
