FM To Arab Ambassadors: Iraq Supports Any Initiative Aims To Consolidate Joint Arab Action

Baghdad / NINA /- Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein stressed that Iraq supports any Arab initiative aimed at serving our Arab societies and consolidating joint Arab action for a bright future for our Arab countries. The ministry stated in a statement that the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) received a copy of it: "Today, Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein met with Arab ambassadors in Baghdad at the ministry’s headquarters in Baghdad, and discussed with them a number of local issues, most notably: the governmental effort towards preparing for early elections, confronting the pandemic challenges and their economic repercussions, in addition to combating terrorism and pursuing the remaining ISIS terrorist organization, and the reconstruction of liberated cities, stressing the importance of strengthening the means of Arab action, especially on issues of common concern. He called on the Arab countries to enter the investment market in Iraq, especially in the field of the reconstruction of liberated cities, stating: "Iraq is a fertile and promising investment environment." He expressed the Ministry's readiness to provide all facilities to Arab missions, and to overcome any difficulties that might be encountered to succeed their diplomatic missions in Baghdad and to serve common interests. The Minister also expressed Iraq’s stances regarding crises in the region, explaining that Iraq supports any Arab initiative that aims to serve Arab societies and consolidate joint Arab action for a brighter future for Arab countries. He affirmed, "The government is working hard to establish the best brotherhood and cooperation relations with its brotherly countries, neighboring countries, and the world at all levels." / End
