Flagrant interference in Bahrain's internal affairs rejected

Manama, May 18 (BNA): The Iraqi parliamentary delegation, headed by parliament Speaker Dr. Salim Al-Jabouri, who are currently on a visit to Bahrain till May 20, has strongly denounced the blatant foreign interferences in Bahrain's internal affairs. During a discussion session today with members of the Representatives Council, they underscored full support to Bahrain's security and stability under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The setting up of a joint friendship committee was announced during an official parliamentary discussion session held during the visit. Both sides also discussed joint parliamentary projects, bilateral cooperation, terrorism and ways of facing the terrorist groups who are seeking to ignite sedition between countries and people while receiving support from foreign parties. On their part, members of the Representatives Council emphasised the importance of the Iraqi delegation's visit to Bahrain describing it as successful in all terms as it paved the way for further political, parliamentary and economic development between both countries. They also reiterated Bahrain's unwavering stance in supporting Iraq's security, stability and unity, stressing their importance in achieving regional stability.
