First Youth Forum of CIS and EAEU kicks off in Cholpon-Ata

Cholpon-Ata, Aug. 25, 2022. /Kabar/. The Kelechek First Youth Forum of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) has started in Cholpon-Ata on Thursday. The event was opened by Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov and Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Mikhail Myasnikovich. The Youth Forum is held under the auspices of the regular meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council. More than 200 participants from the CIS countries and the EAEU take part in the forum. The forum plans to bring together youth activists, civil servants and novice diplomats from the member countries of the EAEU and the CIS. The event is aimed at expanding the processes of interaction between the youth of the countries of the Union and the CIS, creating new opportunities for the implementation of youth initiatives, social and professional self-realization of the younger generation. Thus, within the framework of the forum, it is planned to discuss the prospects for the formation of a youth personnel reserve, the possibility of economic integration for youth entrepreneurship in the CIS and the EAEU, the creative industries of the CIS and the EAEU, youth growth points, the prospects for the common scientific and educational space of the CIS, and much more.
