First Forum of Excellence kicks off

Manama, Nov 17 (BNA): Cabinet Affairs Minister Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Mutawa today patronized the First Forum of Excellence which runs until November 19. Act smart Public Relations Consultancy organizes the forum held under the slogan (Excellence by minimum resources). The minister said excellence means quality and fast performance with reasonable cost. Though challenges can be met by increasing spending, but the real challenge lies in achieving excellence by the use of minimum resources. He explained in light of the global trend toward rationalizing consumption, increasing productivity and enhancing competitiveness, global organizations and institutions are competing to attain creativity. He added that Bahrain program of excellence, since its inception in 2008, has consistently worked with the aim of spreading the culture of excellence by the use of minimum resources taking into account promoting competitiveness. The forum's Secretary General Dr. Fahad Ibrahim Al-Shehabi, in his speech, said that Bahrain has become a model of excellence in service field in recent years, pointing out the successful stories made by Bahrainis. He noted the interpretation of the royal vision into all government projects led by HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and the support of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. At the end of the first day of the forum, the minister honoured the event's speakers, heads of the meeting sessions and sponsors.
