Finance Minister receives doctoral thesis copy

Manama, Sept. 16 (BNA): Finance Minister Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received Dr. Ahmed Jassim Bu Mutai the Director of Follow up Directorate in the Central Bank of Bahrain who presented to the minister a copy of his doctoral dissertation from the British Kingston University on "The Gulf Monetary Union" and its anticipated effects on trade and economic growth. The minister praised the efforts of Dr. Ahmed Jassim Bu Mutai asserting that academic research constitutes a positive addition to enhance the banking and financial sector and open new vistas for further policy-related, financial and economic accomplishments and success.
