Finance Minister meets French delegation

Manama, Apr. 14 (BNA): Minister of Finance Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa met a delegation comprising representatives from the French technical cooperation agency "Expertise France" and several French companies operating in the field of urban planning and development, and explored with them ways and means of bolstering the bilateral cooperation relations and benefiting from French expertise to expand and develop Bahrain's cities, as part of what was agreed during the official visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the French Republic last August. The Ministry of Finance organises busy itinerary for the French delegation to meet ministers and senior officials in the Ministry of Housing, Ministry of Works, Municipalities and Urban Planning, and the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry in addition to miscellaneous field visits. Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, Arif Saleh Khamis; and, the Ambassador of the French Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Bernard Renault-Fabre, were both present at the meeting.
