Export of canned vegetables and fruits from Kyrgyzstan almost doubled

Bishkek, Dec. 22, 2022 / Kabar/. For 10 months of 2022, the volume of exports of canned vegetables and fruits of Kyrgyz production increased by 1.9 times, or by 88%. This is evidenced by the data of the National Statistics Committee. From January to March of this year, domestic producers delivered over 209 tons to three countries: Russia, Kazakhstan and Germany. The total cost exceeded 332 thousand dollars. The main importer of the canned product from Kyrgyzstan was Kazakhstan, having bought almost 148 tons for the amount of 201.3 thousand dollars. This volume is almost 3 times more than in the same period last year. Russian partners have ordered more than 136 tons of conservation, having increased last year's volume by 1.4 times. Kyrgyz producers earned $117.5 thousand from this delivery. 6.2 tons of products worth 13.5 thousand dollars were sent to Germany. Last year, domestic producers of canned vegetables and fruits did not enter the German market.
