Exhibition Propels Work for Putting Sports on Scientific Basis

Pyongyang, October 25 (KCNA) -- The 21st National Exhibition of Sports Scientific and Technological Achievements served as an important occasion which propelled the work for putting sports on a scientific basis. The number of visitors grew 1.5 times as compared with the 20th exhibition last year. On display at the exhibition were a program for supporting sports training at juvenile sports school, football-throwing tool, model warship, watch-shaped pulsimeter and pedometer and many other sports apparatuses. What merits attention was a general evaluation system for selecting sports players. Officials and working people of different sectors also presented many excellent exhibits. This showed that the work for putting sports on a scientific basis has been conducted as a massive work. -0-
