Event dedicated to work of Chingiz Aitmatov held in Turkiye

Bishkek, Aug. 30, 2022. / Kabar /. The day before, Ankara hosted an event dedicated to the work and works of the Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov, traditionally organized by the Anatolian School, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic said.
During the panel discussion, which was held with the participation of students from Turkey, Germany and Greece, as well as representatives of Turkish ministries and departments, the academic community and public figures, the topics of the family, the role of women, children who grew up without fathers, war and its difficulties, love and relations between the characters, reflected in the works of Aitmatov.
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Turkiye Vakhit Kirishchi, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Deputy of the Turkish Parliament Orhan Erdem, Chairman of the Board of the Anatolian School Professor Sami Gyuchlyu and representatives of the writing community addressed the participants.
In his speech, Omuraliev, thanking the organizers for holding this event, noted that young readers through the works of Chingiz Aitmatov can touch the history and culture of the Kyrgyz people, and also that the work of the great writer is a spiritual value not only for the Turkic world, but for the whole the world as a whole.
The Anatolian School was founded by the former Minister of Agriculture of Turkey, Professor Sami Güçlü in 2012 at Sakarya University. The main directions of the school are reading and discussing in panel discussions the works of authors who have managed to contribute to the development of Turkic culture and civilization.
