Eurovision in Baku to be one of most exciting events in life

Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb.29 / Trend V.Imanov/ Eurovision-2012 in Baku will be one of the best events in the life, members of pop-rock duo Sinplus, who will present Switzerland at the competition, said. "Participation at the contest is already giving us a lot: we got the chance to improve our perfomances, to tour in Europe, to know a lot of different people and countries, to speak a lot of languages...and first of all, to bring our music to the people!!" brothers Ivan and Gabriel Broggini who are members of the group said in an interview with Trend. We have never been to Baku, but we have a couple of friends who went there. They told us that it is a growing city, with a lot of energy, the brothers added. According to the participants being chosen as swiss representatives was a big surprise for them. "But inside we knew that "Unbreakable" has a big potential . It's brings a positive and universal message; it tells you to "You can do it", that you should "follow your wildest dreams!" the Broggini said. The Broggini noted that first of all an artist should be chosen for his/her song, and not for popularity. "Who cares about artist's popularity if the song isn't good?" the Sinplus said. The performance should be fresh and energetic, Swiss participants said regarding the performance. "We would like to bring a kind of Rock Show! Maybe there'll be a couple of pyrothecnical effects...but...top secret! Work in progress" the Borggini said. According to the duo they hope that the partecipation at Eurovision will be a great start for their musician career. "We'll bring a lot of passion and energy. Unbreakable isn't the classic Eurovision song and this could be a good point," members of Sinplus added. This contest is the only way
to get noticed for a young swiss
band, the Borggini said. "We proud to represent our country. With a little bit of lucky, we could reach a great result for Switzerland."the Swiss participants said. The Sinplus noted that they will try to show a good show in Baku. The 57th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Baku Crystal Hall, which is under construction near the area of the State Flag. The Baku Crystal Hall is the arena with a capacity of up to 23,000 spectators. Approximately 16,000 people will be able to attend each of the three Eurovision Song Contest live shows in May. The contest semifinals will be held on May 22 and 24, while the Final - May 26. Azerbaijan won the right to host the prestigious European song contest after the victory of Eldar Gasimov and Nigar Jamal (Ell / Nikki) at Eurovision 2011 in Dusseldorf, Germany last May.
