Eurasian Economic Forum is most significant forum in last 5 years, Kyrgyz expert

Bishkek, May 24, 2022 / Kabar /. This is the most significant and expected forum over the past 5 years, Director of the National Institute for Strategic Studies (NISS)Rustam Asizbaev told commenting on the upcoming Eurasian Economic Forum scheduled for May 26.
Speaking about the expectations from the forum, Asizbaev noted that these are the main areas of development with the EAEU countries. “It is necessary to resolve the issues that exist with the countries of the Union,” he said.
The head of the NISS believes that for Kyrgyzstan, the EAEU is the future of the country. He explained that any country should be integrated into any economic community. “Because these countries are countries of the post-Soviet space, where we have a single language, a single culture, a single Soviet education. And if, as some politicians say, that the EAEU has no right to exist, then they are deeply mistaken,” Asizbaev noted, adding that the Union countries have developed a strategy for the development of the EAEU until 2025, where the main messages are: the main directions of development in the field of education, health care, culture, tourism, as well as cross-border problems that exist with individual countries.
He also believes that the Eurasian Economic Forum will show the problems and gaps that we must solve in the future. He also believes that these points can be resolved. The reason, according to Asizbaev, is that Kyrgyzstan will make efforts to do so.
The Eurasian Economic Union is an economic union of post-Soviet states located in Eurasia. Member countries are Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
The chairmanship of the Eurasian Economic Union passed to Kyrgyzstan in 2022. The Eurasian Economic Forum is held in the state that chairs the EAEU agencies. The event is scheduled for May 26 in Bishkek.
