Estonia Post to open its first representative office in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, July 28, 2022. /Kabar/. Estonia Post will open its first representative office in Kyrgyzstan, Kyrgyz Post JSC reported Thursday. Thus, an international agreement was signed July 25 between Kyrgyz Post JSC and Omniva EE Post of Estonia to open the first in Asia representative office of Estonia Post on the basis of the branch of Kyrgyz Post JSC. Vice President for International Business at Omniva Sven Kukemelk said the volume of e-commerce in this region will triple over the next 10 years and new representative office will be conveniently located to serve these emerging markets. Chairman of the Kyrgyz Post Board Marat Cherikchiev said that in the future, Kyrgyz Post will open a representative office in Estonia, which will boost cross-border e-commerce and give a good impetus to logistics between the PRC, Kyrgyzstan and the European Union. In addition, there will be active work to attract international marketplaces to Kyrgyzstan, which will allow Kyrgyz entrepreneurs and artisans to export their products.
