ERC delivers urgent relief to IDPs in Lahej, Yemen

LAHEJ, 3rd April, 2018 (WAM) -- The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, today, delivered urgent relief to the Beitra Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs, at Foyush camp in the Governorate of Lahej in response to an appeal issued by 500 underprivileged families. An ERC aid worker oversaw the distribution of life-saving food items, tents and water containers. The beneficiaries thanked the ERC for providing them with the assistance, which they said had come in time of desperate need. The ERC aid workers had on Friday inspected the living conditions of the IDPs and promised to help them.
