Energy Minister receives Chinese delegation

Manama, Apr. 22 (BNA): Energy Minister Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza received a high-level official delegation from the People's Republic of China. The meeting took place at the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA)'s premises, during which the minister commended the bilateral cooperation, aspiring for further cooperation between the two sides in oil and petrochemicals industries sector. The delegation outlined the practical steps taken by the Chinese oil and financial companies following the delegation's first visit early this year. The delegation expressed the aspiration of Chinese firms to implement various strategic projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain, including sharing the implementation of refinery modernization, LNG terminal, BMP, and A/B pipeline projects. The delegation expressed their appreciation of the minister's fruitful efforts in boosting joint investments between the two sides which contribute to diversification of revenue sources in Bahrain.
