Energy Minister meets IFA director-general

Manama, Oct.4 (BNA): Energy Minister Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza met Director General of the International Fertilizer Industry Association (IFA) Charlotte Hebebrand, in the presence of GPIC President and Chairman of IFA Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery. Dr. Mirza stressed cooperation between the Gulf Petrochemical Industries (GPIC) and International Fertilizer Industry Association (IFA), underlining the importance of exchanging expertise to develop this industry in the region. He reviewed with Hebebrand the current trends in the international market of fertilizers, focusing on the future outlook, in addition to food security in the world in light of world developments.
