Emomali Rahmon’s condolences over Kyrgyzstan’s National Mourning Day

Bishkek, July 30, 2020. /Kabar/. Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon expressed condolences to Kyrgyz leader Sooronbay Jeenbekov and people of Kyrgyzstan on the Day of National Mourning, declared in the republic July 30 in memory of the victims of the coronavirus pandemic. "I express our sincere condolences and sympathy to all fraternal people of Kyrgyzstan, and I wish a speedy recovery to the sick Kyrgyzstanis. We are following with deep concern the alarming trend of global spread of dangerous viral infection COVID-19. I believe that friendly Kyrgyzstan will overcome with dignity the difficulties associated with the pandemic, and the measures taken by the Government to contain it and normalize the epidemiological situation will certainly lead to the desired results. Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan are linked by deep-rooted traditions of good-neighbourliness, creative interaction and mutual assistance. I would like to take this opportunity to assure you that the Kyrgyz side can always count on our every possible assistance and support," the Tajik president's letter of condolence runs.
