El-Araby: HH the Emir Welcomed All Arabs and the Opening Ceremony is "Wonderful"

Doha, December 10 (QNA) - Arab League Secretary General Dr. Nabil el-Araby has described the opening ceremony of Doha 12th Arab Games attended by HH the Emir Shikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani as "wonderful" while pointing to HH welcoming of Arab guests and highlighting the Qatari efforts in this regard. "Firstly, I should praise the wonderful organization Qatar has done for the Arab Games" el-Araby said in statements to QNA. He spoke of the Arab Games as an extremely important event while pointing, in reference to Arab nations, to the origin of Olympics as a sports event initially held to eliminate wars and differences among the Greeks. "Reviving the Olympics in Qatar was a great thing. I was happy to attend the opening ceremony where I witnessed upscale shows with the use of global modern technology" added el-Araby ''The Arab League has a variety of intellectual, cultural and sports activities.
