Egyptian President's visit to Bahrain lauded

Cairo, Oct. 28 (BNA): Bahraini Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa hailed the visit of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi to Bahrain tomorrow. In a statement marking the occasion, he said the visit would further bolster bilateral relations and open up new horizons for cooperation between both countries. He stressed keenness of Bahrain leadership on stronger cooperation with Egypt, pointing out the kingdom's support to all measures taken by the Egyptian leadership to carry out the "roadmap of the future". He also underlined deep-rooted relations between the two brotherly countries, describing them as strategic and exemplary. The Bahraini ambassador commended Egypt's honourable stances towards Bahrain and the Arabian Gulf security, underscoring its pioneering role in serving the Arab and Islamic nations and promoting pan-Arab work. He also extended congratulations to the Egyptian leadership, government and people on success of the first phase of parliamentary elections, describing it as a quality step towards stability and prosperity.
