Education Minister Invites Parents to Visit Education Fair

Doha, April 24 (QNA) - HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education and Secretary General of the Supreme Education Council, Saad bin Ibrahim al-Mahmoud, said he is pleased by the Education Fair as an opportunity for schools to highlight their achievements and successes. In a press statement, following the opening of Education Fair 2013 at Doha International Exhibition Centre, HE the Minister said: "We are Pleased for the Education Fair, titled Various Educational Choices, as an educational event where parents, independent schools, private and international school and kindergartens come together to get familiar with the best educational practices and choices in the educational system in Qatar." The Fair is an opportunity for the schools to present their successes, he said adding that this will enable schools to exchange experiences, which will positively be reflected on outcomes of the educational process. The objective of the Education Fair, he said, is to bring together all the partners in the educational process, so they can conduct interactive dialogue on the best educational practices and on the challenges as well.
