Education Minister discusses cooperation with UNSECO

Manama, May 12 (BNA) – Minister of Education, Dr. Majed bin Ali Al-Nuaimi, today in Paris, met UNESCO technical and vocational education officials, including Director of Executive Office of Education, Director of Teacher Development and Higher Education and Director of Technical and Vocational Education and Training. Education Minister discussed cooperation in line with the Education Ministry's policy for the development of technical and vocational education, in-house training and benefiting from UNESCO expertise in the same areas. UNESCO officials hailed Bahrain's efforts exerted in developing education and expressed readiness to cooperate to develop technical and vocational education in conformity with the UNSECO standards. Education Minister welcomed the fruitful cooperation with the UNESCO and its contributions to develop technical education in the past few years. MJ
