Edil Baisalov meets with director of Eurasian region of International Republican Institute

Bishkek, Dec. 16, 2022 / Kabar/. Deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov met with Director of the Eurasian Region of the International Republican Institute (IRI) Stephen Nix. During the meeting, the sides discussed democratic development and strengthening of the rule of law, as well as the current socio-political situation in the Kyrgyz Republic. Edil Baisalov spoke in detail about the large-scale reforms being carried out in the country in order to improve the standard of living, improve the quality of public services and promote civil rights and freedoms. “Democracy in our country has ceased to be a subject of empty entertainment. As befits a democracy, it now serves the benefit of a real improvement in the life of the people. The authorities have a strong mandate and we will ensure the achievement of all the long-term tasks facing our state,” said the deputy chairman of the Cabinet.
