Dr. Al Misnad: Qatar University "Committed" to Prosperity of Natural Gas Industry

Doha, March 05 (QNA) -President of Qatar University, Dr. Sheikha Al Misnad has reiterated that commitment of Qatar university will continue to enhance the prosperity of Natural Gas industry in Qatar. Dr. Al Misnad said in a statement at the inauguration session of the 3rd Annual Gas Processing Symposium which kicked off here earlier Monday that mentioned the Gas Processing Center affiliated to Qatar University and the support it receives from 14 gas and oil industry related companies in Qatar, in addition to the support of a governmental sector. She stressed that Qatar University's support to the economic development process is a vital point to the University's mission. She added that the University's participation at the conference comes "in our recognition to the needs and developments of the field of energy and as a guarantee for our development with it." Dr. Al Misnad further stressed on the importance of such a conference as a prominent annual event not only for Qatar University but also for the energy sector and Gas field- workers in general.(QNA)
