Donations for Yemen Campaign launched

Manama, May 28 (BNA): The Royal Charity Organisation (RCO)'s Secretary-General also Chairman of the National Committee for Relief of Brethren in Yemen, Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed, expressed the appreciation of the Representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs also Chairman of RCO's Board of Trustees, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to charity societies and Bahrain Red Crescent Society for their provision of relief assistance to our brothers in Yemen Republic, followingTuesday's meeting which defined the executive steps to ensure the success of the campaign. His Highness lauded the role of the Ministry of Social Development in addressing the societies in Bahrain to support the campaign in cooperation with the Royal Charity Organisation to provide help and perform the task professionally to serve the donations campaign. Dr. Mustafa said on Friday the first shipment of relief assistance to the Yemen people will be launched from Mina Khalifa, comprising medical supplies, foodstuffs and tents, in the presence of Minister of Justice and Islamic Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa the Honorary President of the Bahrain Red Crescent Society, and Foreign Ministry's Undersecretary Abdullah Abdullatif, and also RCO board of trustees members and members of the National Committee for the Relief of Brothers in Yemen.
