Doha Hosts Health Progress, Systems Performance Review Workshop

Doha, December 11 (QNA) - Qatar will host tomorrow, Monday, a workshop on 'health progress and systems performance review: analysis methods and tools'. Organized by the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean in collaboration with the Supreme Council of Health, the four-day workshop's participants include WHO experts and delegations from Afghanistan, Egypt, Iraq, Pakistan and Sudan as well as from Qatar represented by the Supreme Council of Health, Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar Statistics Authority and Qatar University. The workshop aims to improve methods of data provision and use required to monitor the performance and progress of health systems, a matter that will help the health sector to review the good performance and future planning. It also aims to introduce participants to the tools and concepts that can be used in their countries to improve the analytical content of the monitoring and evaluation process. (QNA)
