Doha to Host Regional Workshop on Human Rights Education

Doha, January 28 (QNA) - The United Nations Centre for Training and documentation in the field of human rights for South-West Asia and the Arab region in cooperation with the Institute for Civil Society Development in Sudan will organize the regional workshop on human rights education "national plans for human rights education" as part of the international program 2010 - 2014 for human rights education. The workshop to be held in Doha on 29 and 30 January , aims to encourage national initiatives in developing national plans for human rights education at the university level with the participation of a group of specialist educators and activists in human rights from the region's countries in addition to Arab regional organizations working in human rights fields.(QNA)
