Djibouti Foreign Minister Hails Qatar's Humanitarian Aid

Djibouti, June 12 (QNA) - Djibouti's Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Mahmoud Ali Yousuf hailed Qatar's humanitarian aid for Djibouti and the efforts exerted by the State of Qatar on mediation between his country and Eritrea, which achieved positive results contributed to the end of the tension between the two parties. Minister Mahmoud Ali Yousuf, who is also the spokesman for the government, was speaking at a farewell ceremony held by the Foreign Ministry of Djibouti in honor of HE Qatar's Ambassador Ali bin Mubarak Al-Muhannadi on the occasion of the end of his tour of duty in the country. The Foreign Minister praised the agreements and the memorandums of understanding singed between the two countries, and expressed appreciation to HE the Qatari Ambassador for the efforts he made for further developing the relations between the two countries. He wished the Ambassador success in his future duties, and the relations between Qatar and Djibouti further progress and prosperity. For his part, HE the Qatari Ambassador expressed thanks and appreciation to Djibouti's Foreign Ministry for this honor and for the cooperation accorded to him during his tenure. The ceremony was attended by senior official at the Foreign Ministry and several ambassadors accredited to Djibouti, led by Kamel Qazzaz, the Ambassador of Palestine and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps.
