Deputy Premier visits Arab Centre for Global Heritage

Manama, Sept. 30 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa visited the Regional Arab Centre for Global Heritage where he was received by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA)'s president Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa. His Highness toured the Centre's sections, lauding the vital role of the centre in protecting global heritage in the Arab region. He said the government was keen on hosting and caring for the centre as a focal point of cultural radiation in the region as part of the Bahrain's cooperation with UNESCO. Shaikh Mai Al Khalifa the Centre's Board Chairperson briefed His Highness about the Centre's historic profiles since was established and its accomplishments between 2013 and 2015.
