Deputy Premier receives Yemeni Vice President

Manama, Apr.22 (BNA): Deputy Premier Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa has today received Yemeni Vice President, Prime Minister Khalid Bahah, currently on visit to Bahrain. He conveyed to the Yemeni official greetings from His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, who welcomed his visit, wishing him, along with the accompanying delegation, a good stay in Bahrain. The Deputy Premier conveyed the assertion of HRH the Premier who reiterated Bahrain’s firm support to the efforts of President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi to complete the political process and resume dialogue between all national forces on the basis of the UN Security Council resolutions and the GCC Initiative, wishing the Yemeni people further progress and prosperity. Bahah also conveyed greetings from President Hadi to the wise leadership in Bahrain for its firm and unwavering stance in support of legitimacy in Yemen. He hailed strong bilateral relations and commended the role of Bahrain in consolidating Yemen’s stability and unity, lauding the Kingdom’s participation in the Arab alliance in support of legitimacy in his country. He described Bahrain’s participation in Operation Decisive Storm as reflecting strong fraternal relations, wishing Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity.
