Deputy premier receives UK ambassador

Manama, July 12 (BNA): Deputy Premier HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today the outgoing UK Ambassador to Bahrain Iain Lindsay. The deputy premier expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the ambassador for the tremendous efforts he had exerted to develop the long-standing Bahraini-British relations and strengthen joint cooperation in all fields, wishing him every success in his future assignments. Ambassador Lindsay expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the deputy premier for the audience, lauding the cooperation of the kingdom’s officials with him, which, he said, contributed to the success of his diplomatic mission. He lauded the progress boom currently witnessed by the kingdom in all fields.
