Deputy Premier receives Portuguese Ambassador

Manama, Nov. 25 -- (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa on Tuesday received the non-resident Ambassador of Portuguese Republic to the Kingdom, Manuel Karvalho who resides in Riyadh. His Highness welcomed the newly-appointed Ambassador, lauding the level of bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, citing the role of the private sector in boosting and developing economic cooperation areas and increasing the volume of trade exchange. The Portuguese Ambassador thanked His Highness the Deputy Prime Minister for his attention to boosting the bilateral cooperation relations, assuring he will put in his efforts to boost and develop the bilateral relations.
