Deputy Premier receives Philippines Ambassador

Manama, Oct. 29 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received the Ambassador of the Philippines Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Alfonso Fernandez A. Ver. HH the Deputy Premier welcomed the newly-appointed ambassador, asserting the importance of boosting and developing the bilateral ties fostered by the leaderships of both countries, especially in the commercial and investment fields. The ambassador expressed his gratitude and appreciation of His Highness's welcoming reception and attentiveness, assuring he will seek to boost the ties between his country and the Kingdom of Bahrain in various fields.
