Deputy Premier receives Omani Ambassador

Manama, Apr 8 (BNA) -- Deputy Prime Minister, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, today received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Bahrain, Abdullah bin Rashid Al-Midilwi, and praised the urban renaissance and strong infrastructure enjoyed by Oman. Deputy Prime Minister hailed the deep-rooted relations binding the two countries, thanks to the two wise leaderships of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, and their roles in enhancing the longstanding bilateral relations. The parties highlighted the GCC joint action, which connects the GCC countries and their people, and discussed a number of topics of joint interest. Deputy Premier asserted Bahraini government's keenness to promote the Omani Ambassador to perform his duties, wishing him success in his diplomatic mission. MJ
