Deputy Premier receives IPI Director

Manama, Jan. 19 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today Director of the International Peace Institute (IPI) Rod Larsen and Director of IPI Regional Office for the Middle East and North Africa Nejib Ferigi. The Deputy Premier commended the role of IPI in promoting the culture of peace and security worldwide, stressing the role of Bahrain-based IPI Regional Office for the Middle East and North Africa in tackling regional issues and mapping out clear visions to bolster security and stability. On his part, Larsen briefed the Deputy Premier on the regional office's plan, thanking him for the meeting and lauding Bahrain's role and constant keenness to promote regional and international security and stability.
