Deputy premier receives Egyptian ambassador

Manama, Jan. 6 (BNA): Deputy Premier HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today the newly-appointed Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain Suha Ibrahim Mohammed Rifaat. The deputy premier affirmed the depth and strength of the fraternal Bahraini-Egyptian relations, stressing constant keenness on bolstering them in all fields for the best services of the two countries and their brotherly countries. HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak praised the crucial role played by Egypt in supporting Arab and Islamic issues and confronting attempts to subvert Arab countries' security and stability. He wished the new envoy every success in assuming her diplomatic duties, highlighting the government desire to support her efforts so as to develop joint action. The Egyptian ambassador expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the deputy premier for the audience, and expressed delight at representing her country in the kingdom. She stressed her commitment to enhancing the outstanding brotherly bilateral relations and joint cooperation.
