Deputy premier receives BTC board members

Manama, Oct. 28 (BNA): Deputy Premier HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received here today the Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs Hisham Al Jowder, Bahrain Tennis Club (BTC) Honorary President Dr. Ali Fakhro, Chairman Khamees Mohammed Al-Moqla and members Dr. Faisal Al Mosawi, Dr. Hussain Al Mukharraq and Mohammed Yousuf. Shaikh Mohammed welcomed BTC chairman and board members, valuing their effective contribution to promote the status of the tennis game in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the International Junior Tennis Championship, wishing Bahrain ITF Juniors Championship's players further success. The minister and BTC delegation expressed their thanks to Shaikh Mohammed for his keen interest and patronage of BTC's international championships. Shaikh Mohammed was briefed on the preparations of the youth and sports affairs ministry and BTC and readiness of relevant authorities to host this championship. The 7th Bahrain ITF Juniors Championship is set to be held on October 24-31 and around 100 champions from more than 40 countries will compete during the championship.
