Deputy Premier attends St. Petersburg Forum

Moscow, June 18 (BNA): Deputy Premier Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Khalifa today attended the opening session of the 19th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The inaugural session focused on ways of addressing challenges facing the Russian economy amid international economic changes. The Deputy Premier met Russian Industry and Commerce Minister Denis Manturov and discussed ways of developing bilateral relations, focusing particularly on joint trade and investment opportunities. Industry and Commerce Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani and Economic Development Board (EDB) Chief Executive Officer Khalid Al-Romaihi attended. The Deputy Premier took part in a discussion session, which was also attended by Industry and Commerce Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani along with other Arab and Russian ministers and officials.
