Deputy Premier arrives in Sudan

Khartoum, June 1 (BNA): Deputy Premier Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa stressed Bahrain's stance in support of Sudan in its effort to maintain security and stability and achieve development. He voiced the stance on his arrival this evening in Khartoum to attend, on behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, the inauguration of President Omar Hassan Al-Bashir tomorrow (June2). The Deputy Premier was welcomed at Khartoum International Airport by Sudanese Assistant President Abdul Rahman Sadiq, Minister of State for Care and Social Insurance Kamal Hassan Ali, State Minister at the Sudanese Presidency Al-Rashid Haroun and Bahrain Ambassador to Egypt Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al-Khalifa. In a statement, he described Bahrain's participation in the inauguration of President Al-Bashir as reflecting strong fraternal relations, wishing Sudan further development and progress.
