Deputy PM receives Russian Ambassador

Manama, March 1 -- (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received the Ambassador of the Russian Federation Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Victor Smirnov. His Highness praised the out-going ambassador's efforts throughout his ambassadorial stint in Bahrain who contributed to boosting and developing aspects of bilateral cooperation ties, particularly in the political and economic fields, wishing Ambassador Smirnov success in his future duties. The Ambassador of the Russian Federation Republic thanked the Deputy Premier for the good reception and the support and assistance he was provided which contributed to the successfulness of his ambassadorial duties in boosting and developing the cooperation relations between his country and the Kingdom of Bahrain, wishing the Kingdom's leadership and people further progress and prosperity.
