Manama, Nov. 16 (BNA): Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince met His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa at the Gudaibiya Palace today. The Deputy King offered profound condolences to HRH the Prime Minister over the sad demise of HRH Premier's Advisor for Industrial and Oil Affairs, the late Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest to rest the soul of the deceased in eternal peace and accommodate him in Paradise, recalling with appreciation and gratitude his imprints in the kingdom's national work, as well as economic and industrial progress. The two leaders then reviewed local and regional issues, lauding, in this regard, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's efforts to enhance the kingdom's relations with various countries. They affirmed that the security and economic situation in the region requires doubling efforts and unifying goals in order to promote security, stability and development worldwide. The Deputy King and HRH Premier stressed that terrorism represents a serious threat to global security and stability, emphasising that terrorism and extremism are not confined to a specific ideology or thought. They called for need to highlight the Islamic Religion's tolerance and moderation that are not represented by extremism ideas which, they said, are seeking to wrap violence and terrorism in a mantle of religious legitimacy.
