Deputy King meets US Navy Secretary

Manama, Dec. 19 (BNA): The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa today met with the United States Secretary of the Navy, the Honorable Richard V. Spencer, at Riffa Palace. During the meeting, the Deputy King and the US Secretary of the Navy discussed a wide range of regional and international developments, highlighting that Bahrain-US military relations represent the cornerstone of bilateral relations between the two countries. The Deputy King highlighted Bahrain’s long and active role promoting stability, stressing that these efforts encompass a broad spectrum of military, political, and economic collaboration with Arab and international partners. The Deputy King praised Bahrain-US collaboration and coordination at all levels, and emphasised the US’ role in maintaining regional security and stability. The Minister of Defence Affairs, Major-General Abdulla Al-Nuaimi and an accompanying delegation from the US, also attended the meeting
