Date set for GCC strategic forum

Manama, July 21 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain will host the fourth Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Strategic Planning Forum on November 3-5. The symposium features six plenary sessions which bring together an elite of experts, specialists and academic figures from different countries in the region. "The sessions will focus respectively on economic, defence, food, social, internal and media security", said forum secretary-general Dr. Fahd Ibrahim Al-Shehabi. In a statement today, Dr. Al-Shehabi said that the general-secretariat is in the process of finalizing the list of keynote speakers who will take part in the forum which highlights mounting regional challenges.
