Customs President renamed WCO Deputy President

Manama, Jan.20- (BNA): Customs President Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa has chaired the 43rd regional meeting was held at the Arab League General Secretariat in Egypt. World Customs Organization (WCO) Secretary-General Kunio Mikuriya and regional Customs general directors attended The Customs President delivered a speech calling for more coordination in exchanging information to promote law enforcement and border safety and security. It is worth mentioning that Bahrain won during the meeting the trust of the customs general directors to continue in the post of the Deputy President of WCO and regional representative for the second time. This is considered as regional and international achievement. The President was accompanied by Director of Customs Planning and Policies, Head of Customs Cooperation and a number of customs officials.
