Customs Affairs participates in WCO forum

Manama , Nov 4 (BNA): Customs Affairs President Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa participated in the Fifth World Customs Organisation Technology and Innovation Forum recently held in the Netherlands under the slogan " Pushing Boundaries, Changing Horizons". Director-General of Clearance and Customs Inspection and a number of directors at the Customs Affairs also attended. The forum focused on the latest products and services offered by companies in the security and detection area. The Bahraini delegation visited the exhibition held on the sidelines of the forum where companies showcased their detection and surveillance technologies. The delegation discussed ways of cooperation with the same companies. The delegation also paid a field visit to Port of Rotterdam and Amsterdam International Airport to learn about the nature of the customs work and ways of customs search and cargo clearance.
